What does it take to Stand Up the All Wall stay in place forms that are 8 ft. tall?

• First stand the form up, just like you would a sheet of paneling, or plywood.  Then slide one end over the rebar dowels sticking out of the slab.  Then  slide the other end to be flush with the panel already up.

• Place two clips (plywood or metal) over the joint where the panels meet and screw with 1 screw each side.  Total of 4 screws.

• Tie the vertical rebar to the rebar dowels coming out of the slab

• ALTERNATE:  If dowels weren't installed at the time the floor slab was poured, just drill and epoxy the vertical rebar at each form/panel connection.

     How long does it take to install?

• Once the panels are placed in an area near to their installed location, the "Stand It Up"  "Install the Clips" and the "Tying Steel" videos show it took 2 minutes for a panel.  Use 5 minutes to estimate time.  Whether the panel is 6" or 4 feet it takes the same effort.  A 3,000 SF home has 80 panels.  80 * 5 min/panel = 400 minutes = 7 hours, call it one day with breaks.  Consider 3 men and this would be an easy day with a one story home.    The labor costs for this 3,000 SF home to stand up the panels, ready for placing the steel rebar in the already formed Tie Beam, would be a 3 man crew at $90.00 per hour makes this cost 8 hrs x $90 = $720.00.  $720 / 3,000 SF = $0.24 / SF of Floor area.
• Use $0.50 per SF and this allows for placing the Tie Beam Steel and wall bracing with c-studs every 16', and installing the corner forms.  This is strictly Labor Cost of a site.
• If you are making corner forms on the job, add time and money.  If you are bending steel on the job add time and money.  If you have to rent scaffold add time and money.  If you are forming special beams add time and money.  If the walls are tall and you have to work from scaffold, or 10 ft. ladders to install headers add time and money.

• In most areas of the USA, All Wall is competitive.  This means All Wall is sometimes lower and sometimes higher.  We have found that Home Building Contractors will charge about $ 5,000.00 more for All Wall as an UPGRADE, because of it's Energy Efficiency. 

$5,000 over 30 years is a fixed monthly amount of approximately $40.00 per month.
